The Child’s Bedchamber

The child’s bedchamber is currently presented as a little girl’s room, complete with typical furnishings and toys. Infants commonly slept near the mother, usually until weaned, then typically removed to their own chamber, or a chamber shared with siblings.  The chamber has two windows providing more than adequate lighting, but there is no heat source.
